Northern Gunner
70 Bird League shoot at Marne today. Had 109 Entries and raised £911 for charity so thanks to all who came out in the rain and supported it. High Gun was Mike Foster with a well shot 66, Beating his brother, Paul into second with 65 along with Scott Fallon. I managed a 64 which I was happy with. Paulos shot round but the student looked ill (hung over I think) Auntie won the ladies (well done) Full results will be on the Cleveland and North Yorkshire shooting league website. Good shoot today, enjoyed it It was just my stinking hangover that made it hard work. I went home and straight to bed after That orange left to right on stand (5?) really outfoxed me - didn't touch one of them :o Can't grumble with my 62 really though as I shot the rest quite well Well done to Auntie for winning the ladies

100milesaway
Yes a very enjoyable shoot at Marne today. After i had shot , i went round marking for a couple of squads and think the misses in the main on stand 5 were missed over the top. I hit 3 out of the 4 but shot them early and missed the last one after leaving it too long and went over it as it dropped. A good day out and lots of dosh raised for the charity.Does anyone know what won the Thrin shoot on Saturday? from Auntie.
Nicky T
Had a very enjoyable afternoon out at Lupton/Crabtree farm yesterday Cracking targets; super friendly atmosphere and plenty of rain - reminded me of North Wolds a few weeks back
Northern Gunner
Went to Doveridge today and a cracking shoot it was. Well worth the early rise and drive down there. 120 bird Sporting over 14 stands. Think I was still asleep for 1st few stands and had a bit of a mare but improved as the shoot went on. Ended up on 100/120 which was ok after dodgy start and got me the Army High gun Still plenty of room for improvement though. Well done to the ground for an excellent shoot. Nicky T
Toughie today at Rufforth; only one silly target (IMHO) the other 25 that got away were my fault Well shot Paulos - that's a cracking score as i believe 84 was high gun when we left

paulos
Cheers That was seriously hard work today! I'm jiggered now. I agree that there was only 1 target that was a bit excessive, but other than that I really enjoyed it. Some really testing stuff on and gutted at some of the easier stuff that I missed at the start. 60 bird sporting at Marne today. Had a good turnout and some tricky angles on. Johnson Ramsey shot really well with a 54, Steve Masters second on 52. Great shooting from Johnson Must have been a bit on the soft side if Steve managed a 52 though... Azzurri
Well shot Paulos today,a top effort on some tougher than usual targets Did you do the FULL celebration thing when you got home or just settle for a Pot Noodle I agree about the black incomer off the bank being a bit much, with the rest of the targets being fine It was just down to the Nut behind the Butt Azzurri.
