Teal
With the New Year just a couple of weeks old, planning for the PW Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot is already well underway. Having contacted the grounds recommended in an earlier topic on where the Shoot should be held we are pleased to reveal that the decision has been taken that this year the venue will be Sporting Targets Shooting Ground, Riseley, Bedfordshire. Proposed by many posters in the thread the good facilities and roads to the ground, combined with its extensive layout and the fact they are accommodating to our requirements make it a ground very capable of hosting a really good event. After the thoroughly successful PW Charity Shoot last year organized by ME, and his team of helpers including (but by no means limited to) Pete the geek, nickbeardo, MM and MC. We look forward to hosting another enjoyable day out which will hopefully raise even more money for Charity than last year We now need to confirm a day that suits most members and then get it booked, so please vote in the poll. BUT Please only vote in the poll if you are intending to turn up to the event.

Mungler
I can do the first one and voted accordingly. I can't do the other two - the May one is a b'day clash and the June one is in half term. I have a whole load of abusive magnetic car stickers already in stock. If those that drove off with one last year would like to bring it back and put it to good use elsewhere, then..... Just to well and truly lob the moggy into the tree rats, what charity is it going to be this year?

100milesaway
At the moment I could do them all and have voted accordingly but that could change as the cpsa team and north of England and county shoots come on line, but none clash at the moment. from Auntie. Teal
Thanks for the votes so far. A few comments have been made on the ground choice, with such a large geographic spread of our membership, it is not possible to please everyone with the venue. We have chosen Sporting Targets based on their positive responses to our enquiries, the fact it was capable of hosting such a large event and that it has good transport links. It is likely that in future years the Charity Shoot will continue to move between grounds in different areas of the country and that some of these will be slightly more northern and others more southern. The ground choice is not up for debate, and I hope that members who have questioned it do attend the ground for what is sure to be a very enjoyable day at a quality clay ground. MC
What are all the details? Which Charity? How much is it to enter? How can we stop the northerners whinging on about how far it is? After all I only had a little trek last year from south east to north west, but I don't remember crying about it.

Markio
As far as i can see it's East of the West Midlands. Sound pretty central to me. Might be up for it, not shot there before and it's a 2 hour drive as opposed to 4+ hours and hotel like last year. Northern chaps, stop whining and get yourself a hotel the night before. MC
If you book a Premier Inn then they have quite large beds, you can all sleep in one room top to toe. Not only will it save you all money it will remind you of your childhood. If you want you can all share the same bathwater as well.

poontang
Well there's some disappointing replies on here. It's not that far, certainly no further than a lot of folk travelled last year. Book a Travel Lodge early and it's dirt cheap. If you have half the laughs we had last year you won't regret it. Go on, you know you want to
