Ouch sorry to hear that mate, best thing to do is go see someone (CAB or similar in scotland) to see if there is any help you can get?

Virtual hug/blokey pat on the back coming your way!

Mate of mine in similar, skint, a company he did some work for last year and paid him £50 x 2 for 3 14+ hour days claimed to tax man they paid him £600+ his wife told him she wants a divorce and has to see doctor tomorrow as he was told he probably has bowel cancer!

Time for a change is overdue, and someone ought to shake your employer warmly by tghe throat and point out a few facts.

Seems to me you're a solid bloke on a bum deal and your employer will never truly realise what you are worth, so time to go and find something else.

Good luck, keep sound and don't let the ******** grind you down. PW-ers stick together!

Cheers

Duncan

There are plenty of sad saps on this forum, come on guys i bet there is at least someone on here that can make this chap feel better. However i feel this has a licence to spiral into a depression thread.

Theres always someone else more worse off despite how bad you think your life is.I know its an old saying, but you have your health,a roof over your head,a job and food to eat which is more than some (im not taking the ****).When you're at a low ebb you need to re-evaluate your life and acknowledge the good points rather than the bad.

In the mean time see if this cheers you up.

It's easy to say there's always someone out there worse off than you. Psychologically that's probably the last thing you want to hear. As mentioned you should re-evaluate your situation and concentrate on things that get you excited. I too was going through a not so nice time until something triggered my interest. Funnily enough that something was the prospect of studying ordnance survey maps around my main shoot to try to establish where the best flight lines were for the birds. Still can't hit them though lol

The problem with the situation you're in is that I don't see it getting any better for you next year, the year after or in 5 years time.

Time for a change I reckon.

On the bright side, if you don't have a wife, kids, mortgage then you have no ties. You can do anything you want to.
