Nial
I have been thinking of buying a camo Deerhunter Ram suit (or possibly Montana if I could get it at the right price). We're heading to Orlando at the start of July and I've just realised I'm probably better saving my money and buying stuff there. If I go to Bass Pro, is their kit much cheaper, and is it any good? Thanks for any tips, Nial.
rimfire4969
Even if you don't buy anything you must go to the Pro Bass shop, my favorite shop in the world They have many different makes of kit, you will proberly change your mind once there, or do as i do load my credit card and buy loads of stuff i don't need but do want. markm
Some stuff is cheaper, particularly stuff on offer. Reloading gear is as cheap as muck as are solid bullet heads. Keep a look out in walmart as they often have mega bargain. Columbia outlet store (I'm sure there is one at one of the malls, but can't remember which one) often had cammo stuff dead cheap. The Internet has reduced the price difference some what.

John_R
I have never seen Deerhunter branded clothing in a Bass Pro Shop. Plenty of other stuff to tempt though.

Beardo
i'm pretty sure Bass Pro don't do Deerhunter - but i own a few bits of their own brand (Redhead) and it's great stuff. their Micro Lite shirts are fantastic for the summer. baz
As said above, Redhead is there own brand and i don't recall seeing Deerhunter. You can spend hours in there buying or just looking around, i bought loads of stuff there last year and had to buy a cheap holdall to bring it back in as the suitcases were rammed full. You have to love the entrance Quote Some nice furniture in there also

Cranfield
Bass Pro is certainly a divine experience, but don't ignore other outlets for frequently better prices on like for like equipment, with no compromise on branding. Walmart is a great example and there are many others. I have bought Shimano and Abu fishing reels in Walmart 20% cheaper than the same models in BassPro. Also, smaller "Outdoor" shops usually have sales and special offers especially on clothing, I bought a clay shooting vest and mesh camo suit in Southern Outdoors that was half the price of the same items in BassPro. vole
I went to Bass Pro and it is amazing but not cheap due to the exchange rates .
