We had a guest at our shoot a while back who years ago had been invited to shoot at Sandringham (he was something in the military police), his picker-up was a little old lady in a head scarf, he said he kept her busy.

After this tale, any little mistakes on our shoot are always put into context, it could have happened at Sandringham!

WF ;)??????

Fished with Jack Charlton in Ireland and Bob Nudd in Kent.

One of my best friends is a famous writer of Angling books (mostly carp).

Shot with Lord Stafford (one of the top three UK game shots).

During corporate events, I have met lots of famous footballers, actors, snooker stars etc., but only as one of a crowd.

Met Richard Faulds a couple of months ago at a local registered shoot. Spoke to his girlfriend like she was a dog.....can't stand people like that....****!

Also beat on a local estate where Patrick Lichfield (RIP) was a regular gun...what a very nice bloke indeed!

Chris Rea patted my dog on the head and said he looked like he realy adored me (the dog not Chris Rea :D )

I have seen faulds and Digweed out and about at various shoots, never talked to either of them, but I did see Faulds buy his bird (Tanya?) a dirty great burger at the Southern Counties Game Fair. She scoffed it straight down and sent him back for another :( Guess he was being good to her that day :o

Did some loading on corporate days at The Royal Berks Shooting School after my last back operation.

On the Aston Martin Day, 25 balloons were released from the back of a crewcab pick up and Richard Faulds had to shoot them as they sailed away. each one shot was £1,000 for charity.

To say the last two were stratospheric is an understatement, but he still hit one of them.

24 ex 25 shot.

Awesome display!!!!!!!!!!

Rob.

Also have Vinnie Jones, Mike Smith and his wife Sarah Greene, Bernard Cribbins, Jackie Stewart and HRH Charlie shoot there on Really Wild days.

was he using a semi auto???

He was using his DT10 and was loaded by a lovely young lady in knee length leather boots. Probably his girlfriend, the lucky sod!

I had Jim Alborne checking my permission while I was shooting one day. He pulled up in his truck and asked a few questions, didn't realise who he was until I got home and sat down with the new sporting gun only to see a dirty great picture of him and a 4 page article. Lucky I was polite and the dog behaved while I was talking to him.

Saw Vinnie jones at the game fair a couple of years ago (but so did several other 1000 people).

Also met Geffory and Bungle off rainbow when I was a kid but they weren't shooting at the time

I once shot with Lord Lucan, but that's a long story :good:

Stood behind Digweed at Greenfields and watched him smoke 9 of the high tower. He missed the last one and said to his mate 'lets go to willow farm' It was the first stand he went on!

Bloody perfectionists B) :good::good:

Look forward to meeting up with you again BT at Bisley and maybe in October on the NTTF roadtrip?
