bunny_blaster Posted July 31, 2011 Report Share Posted July 31, 2011 I went out again this evening on the farm where around 1000-1500 birds were feeding yesterday. When i arrived there was about 500 feeding on a field. I set up my hide under a dead tree just off the edge of the field. I put out the decoys, magnet and flapper and got sat in the hide. As soon as i got in the hide the action began. Birds came in from everwhere. Ive never seen pigeons decoy like this before, they were suicidal!! I couldnt reload the auto fast enough at times. As the evening went on the auto started to fail and it kept on jamming, i eventually had to feed a single cartridge for every shot. Then the stock started to come loose, it was a nightmare, ******* hatsans!!! I got on with it anyway. I sat in the hide at 4.40 and fired my last shot at 7.30. I finished with a total of 199 pigeons and 1 crow to make my first double ton Certainly an afternoon i wont forget in a hurry.
