who said anything about spending £800-1000 for an air rifle scope. a bit more spent and you could have had a nice leupold which range from £220 for a leupold VX 1 3-9x40 on optics warehouse. Putting pictures up your asking for peoples opinions and in my opinion there's much better scopes out there than a hawk for your money.....Theres no need to sob.

When you try it you'll know why. For £400 you can get a very good used scope, it will add to your shooting enjoyment, so it's a no-brainer to me.

If we're honest, an AA410 would have killed those squirrels just as well as that lovely Daystate, but you want to use the best. Scopes are the same, the extra clarity, no white-out and good dawn / dusk performance make shooting better.

have looked through some nice scopes mate , i suppose it is what your are happy with tbh , and i personally thing the hawke endurance 30 is a cracking scope and just the job on an airrifle , I have a yukon scope on my 17hmr got it from the usa and not an expensive scope but up for the job it needs to do .

totally right on the aa410 or other air rifles would have done the same job, again preferences same as scopes i suppose .

Well done again mate! The Hawke Endurance 30 IR is a cracking scope! My motto is-If your happy with your kit-leave well alone,if not, change it!!

Keep up the good work my friend!!

I agree. I have one on my 17 HMR, and have used one on a 22-250 with good results. Maybe not in the same league as S&B, Zeiss etc, but certainly excellent value for money, and when bought new, they carry a 10 year guarantee. Not many other's offer such a good deal.

10more tree rats feet in the Air!

Nice to see somone making a difference :good:

I am currently restoring a Falcon FN19 Raptor 8 shot and hope it will eventually get to make a difference on the Grey population too.

I also restored a few others recently

FN17in .22

Career 707 10 shot Carbine in .22

And a 12g O/U

Waiting for the stock for my Ugartechea to arrive to restore that too.

Not as stunning as Your daystate but beautiful to me

Keep clouting those greys :good:

gotta disagree on that one, my scope was just over £100 and the gun is easily good enough for three shot groups on the end of a 12g cartridge at 60 yards.

It's not a case of the mosexpensiveve is always the best it's knowing how to get the best out of what you have ;)
