PW North vs South Charity Shoot NEWS

It may only be January but we are keen to make preparations for the Charity Shoot, and to book a date and a ground. Some suitable grounds have already been contacted, but to assist with the selection of a ground Petethegeek has unveiled a new widget which calculates the mid-point of Pigeon Watch members who are likely to go to the shoot.

This can be seen on the: PW North vs South Charity Shoot Website with markers indicating each Pigeon Watch member (which can be seen by clicking "show members" at the bottom). Aside from this on the map we have put the last two grounds we have shot at, but the 2012 Clay Shoot will be held at a new venue, so they are there for reference only!

Please note, the mid-point calculated will be a tool for the ground selection, but the ground closest to the mid-point may not necessarily be the ground selected, for example: if they are unable to accommodate us, or are priced uncompetitively etc...

To get your pin on the map please send a PM to Teal, with your full postcode, the marker pin on the map will be placed using the first part of your postcode only, for anonymity.

Note: Please only submit your postcode if you intend to come to the Charity Shoot, members who pin themselves to the map, but do not attend the shoot will be expected to make a minimum £3 donation to the 2012 Pigeon Watch North vs South Shoot Charity.

Is see the middle point is near sporting targets now, a vast improvement in Cupid green skeet field which was where it was!

 That in itself was an improvement on Broomhills where it was also hovering near. I feel dirty for saying it but I'm glad to see more northerners working out what a postcode is and getting involved resulting in a location nearer a decent ground...
