blade
Been watching a feild of layed barley for a couple of days now unable to shoot it because of bloody awful weather. So yesterday the sun came out so we gave it a bash. Was unable to set up under the hedgerow because we were along a stone road hide poles would not go in so had to set up on the fields edge in the long grass and weed. Not an ideal set up as we didnt have enough netting to cover are backs but we had no choice.Set up 2 magnets on a large flat spot 30yds in front of us and half a dozen un flocked shells.Didnt have to wait long for hour first customers then they came in steady most of the day .We had about 700 to 800 corvids trying to get on to the field as well but didnt shoot at many as there was enough pigeon activity to keep us happy.Ended the day with 183 pigeons picked up well done troy the red lab would have been lost without him.Few pics of bag

blade
Thanks for all the comments if we had enough shells we could have matched the pigeon count with corvids never seen the sky so black with them. Roll on saturday for another bash hopefully this time will free the farmer of some of the black stuff as well they must be doing some serious damage
