steve0146
After following a thread about kennels, I'm curious to what people use for bedding in the kennel. Mine gets old blankets, old duvet, or at moment a piece of vet bedding but it all ends up in the run in the morning.

Asa Bear
What was Bill Meldrums comment? I have just started using wood pellets and I'd be interested in what Bill had to say.

lister1
Nothing in the summer but i do give them a bit of straw in the winter, I put some in the plastic bed and some in the rest of the bedroom compartment.
ferguson_tom
I had a problem with my collie deciding it was fun to randomly destroy his bed every couple of months so I bought one of these for my two. I bought the medium one as it goes in my kitchen and my collie and springer are comfortable on it (my springer is quite small) I have found its great in the house as gets rid of a lot of the dog smell of a bed, all there dirt just falls off through the bed and onto the floor underneath so just have to hoover it up and to clean the actual bed i just wash it down with a hose. Would be ideal in a kennel as can wash it all down etc. http://www.doggiesolutions.co.uk/coolaroo-dog-beds-15413-0.html
JMart
Shredded cardboard horse bedding. Warm, helps dry them off after a getting wet, not dust, not little visitors, and easily recycled either in the muck heap or on the bonfire. AlistairB
Vet bed, old fleeces, old towels etc, but it all gets changed regularly and the whole lot (indoor and outdoor) is jet washed and disinfected to get rid of any potential visitors! bodach
I used tuffies but was not tuff enough at £45 a pop. For this winter I am going to use rubber play mats cut to size of bedding area and old blanket bought from charity shops £2 each and dump when stinky.
