nothing, it holds damp, fleas, ticks and mites and harbours nasty smells. makes us feel better but the dogs dont care mine will go to sleep anywere thats dry and draft free

 

Same here, although I am tempted to try this stuff

I agree, but I fit a piece of thick horse rubber matting on the bottom of the kennel.

I had a problem with my collie deciding it was fun to randomly destroy his bed every couple of months so I bought one of these for my two. I bought the medium one as it goes in my kitchen and my collie and springer are comfortable on it (my springer is quite small) I have found its great in the house as gets rid of a lot of the dog smell of a bed, all there dirt just falls off through the bed and onto the floor underneath so just have to hoover it up and to clean the actual bed i just wash it down with a hose. Would be ideal in a kennel as can wash it all down etc.
