kyska
I use 26 or 28g 6's SIPE, reassuringly expensive, and don't recoil anything like other carts I find.

Whitebridges
Eley VIP, Hull Sterling Game 28g No 6 very good on game. Fiocchi GFL 28g No 6 punchier and great from a semi-auto. Recently been using RC JK6 T3 26g No7 for decoying pigeon and they are a cracking load for this job. sitsinhedges
I usually load my own now but have always thought that the Eley CT range were good value for money.

Cranfield
Gamebore Traditional Game 28gm No 6 felt wad.
john12
Eley VIP or sipe I would say. Then again my father rates pure gold very highly. From what I have found just find a load that works well for you and your gun and stick with it.

bicykillgaz
Gamebore traditional game 28g no5's fibre wads, also got a couple of boxes of rc2 32g no4's which are really really good on rabbits I actually got them for occasional fox at £9 a box there a bit steep for everyday use on vermin unfortunately. angrymallard
My personal favorite are RC20 32g 5's, a little but heavier than most people would like to use in a 20 bore instead of swapping to a 12 bore but a fantastic all round cartridge. Wharf Rat
Sipe 25g 6s, or homeloaded 24g 6s with 23 gr Longshot. Small bores shot string like crazy with large loads, so any bigger than 24g and the 12 bore comes out.
