Yoggy
After looking on the net for a few days I`ve virtually given up. I`m after a larger than normal game bag for wildfowling. My old one has finally split. The ones on the internet are the usual bog standard size and not really what I want. Does anyone know of any?. Dee Wildfowler
Have a look on Cabelas, some massive bags on there. Not exactly what we think of as game bags but ideal for wildfowling. John
Reabrook
Try these http://www.ukhunting...bags/game-bag-3 Brilliant for the price. I use one to carry my dog training gear but have used it on the marsh. They have an excellent wide strap as well. I get a pile of kit in it and it doubles up as something decent to sit on. mudpatten
Any sailmakers nearby? I get mine made from green boat cover canvas big enough to hold three canadas. I have to say that the one in reabrooks post looks the business and is at a similar price point to the sort I`ve previously had made. pigeon-richardwall
The large one of these are pretty big and good value for money as well..... http://www.garryevans.co.uk/hardwear-classic-game-bag---reduced-prices-3979-p.asp
wildfowl jon
If you just need a bag and dont mind it not being a traditonal game bag style the jack pyke decoy bags are pretty big, not sure but they do them in a wetlands pattern. Does anyone know of any?. the old sitty type bag might have had its day replaced by the modern rucksack. John is correct Cabalas have a great selection. I have one that will fit over 40 mallard size deeks if your keen enough ( or just a few teal deeks, a massive lunch LOL and more duck or geese than its wise to ever shoot) seriously easier to carry geese in and can be used as a layout mat or a seat with room for the dog. Drainage at the bottom and quick to dry off after a hose down is a serious plus point
ayano3
Search for gundog dummy bags, far bigger than game bags. Mine was made many years ago by the prison services. There used to be a guy who lived in the estate behind kings Lynn gun sale , not sure if anyone knows of him or if if still does them. anser2
20 years ago a mate bought me a large brown canvas bag from one of the country shows. Its still going strong. It will hold 15 decoys with space for a dozen duck. Been on the look out for a replacement for the day it finaly goes without any luck. ayano3
and for me a rucksack will never replace a good big game bag., mine doubles as something to sit on in the mud, it gets jet washed and thrown around, carries far more than I will ever shoot on the marsh and is still going strong. Terry P
I'm with Kent on this one, rucksack over gamebag anytime, much better weight distribution, carrying capacity, comfort, etc etc, go for a rucksack
