stu nesling
got a small permission that does have a few wild pheasant and partridge on it. shot this on it last week.. http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/230659-defo-not-a-pheasant/ walked around it today to find some very fresh, as in todays droppings. not like any fox *** i have seen before, so thought i would ask. they look like dogs, but no one who works on the farm has a dog? the farmer does not have a dog! the other guy who occasionally shoots does not have a dog! is this dog or do have another ginger visitor i have to get rid of? shown very close to barrels to give some form of scale. Uncle Albert
Fox generally have a twist at each end so I would suggest dog. Have a look around the local populace and see whose dog has a somewhat sheepish expression on its face.

fieldwanderer
If it's anything like my permissions, dog walkers seem to consider it a free for all anyway! So I wouldn't rule it out. I have seen hawk / owl poo about that size but the tiny bones etc in it usually give that away

Pole Star
Pick it up & smell it ! then feel it between your fingers ! if you still cant make up your mind then rub some on your chest ! now if you are still baffled as to what it is then taste it ! & if it tastes like S... then it must be S... !!! !!. Seriously it could be a number of animals that dropped it ? I have seen big feral tom cats ***** that look like that as they don 't have the manners to bury theirs like a lot of domestic moggies ! if it has hair or feathers in it then you know for sure its a predator of some kind ? if it really bothers you get a cage trap & see if that gets the culprit ! . Oh yes before any one says it was mine ! the answer is no I live to far away from you If it has sweet corn bits in it then you might have Bill Oddie on the mooch !
