CaptainBeaky
Legs 11! And so it grows - today Northolt, tomorrow, the world... Err... sorry, where was I? Oh yes - just spoken to ACST, they're expecting us, and are fine with it being a large group. We don't need to book the skeet layout specially - as we are a large group we will squad together. Local rules; Make sure you have your license with you. They will book everyone in, and send someone with us to where we will be shooting first, to check that we are safe sensible chaps, which, of course, we are... 28g max load, max shot size 5/6 2 cartridges max in s/a or p/a (sorry, chaps :( ) No restrictions on wad type No local rules on carrying guns between stands, other than "be safe". See you all on the 11th Edited October 18, 2017 by CaptainBeaky
Scrumbag
SKEET! AWWW HELL NO! We don't need to book the skeet layout specially - as we are a large group we will squad together.
CaptainBeaky
SKEET! AWWW HELL NO! It's a sociable way to start the session off Edited October 19, 2017 by CaptainBeaky
arm3000gt
Had a round of sporting with the pump today. Not as bad as thought but not looking forward to skeet. I need to be mindful of anticipating the sliding of the action, caused a couple of miss feeds today also.
CaptainBeaky
Skeet was a suggestion as to how to kick the session off - it's not compulsory
quentyn
Skeet was a suggestion as to how to kick the session off - it's not compulsory i have never shot skeet there, did manage 22/25 with my pump in the cowshed and at the back mine is an open choke so cant really hit the far ones easily
CaptainBeaky
Cow shed? As in, a named feature of that shoot, or, hitting a barn from inside? Edited October 20, 2017 by CaptainBeaky
Wingman
Skeet will be fun, its more about getting to know each other than the scores and we can move to other disciplines afterwards.
impala59
Greetings from the Ionian islands ( just across the water from Ithaca!) sadly won't make it to that island this trip. Never actually shot Skeet so looking forward to making a fool of myself!
CaptainBeaky
Skeet with full choke is entertaining! When you hit them, they evaporate

Opossum
Theres a Mossberg 590 on GT with a side folding stock. Are FAC guns exempt from the 40 minimum OAL thing? Its not my cup of tea but seemed a bit odd.
