old rooster
Makes me wince when some numpty comes haring along wearing shorts and sandals on a bike! Having survived a few heavy duty "incidents" including a head on into an Escort van I can recommend decent riding gear. Hoping to see some decent weather before too much longer but not sure I'll be dragging the sports bikes out with the roads in the current condition round here. Will have to have a bimble out on the ST3 :)

Shropshire_Lad
Well done! just for us though be extra careful ;-) I have lost a few good friends on bikes. At times its easy to loose you guy's and girls for just a split second in a blind spot or door pillar , vans are bad for this. Enjoy it but be one step ahead always. atvb Paul. Blunderbuss
Well done but take it easy. The first couple of years after passing are risky. I heartily recommend doing a police bike safe course. Not as dull as it sounds - experienced bike cops hooning around the countryside with you and imparting life saving wisdom. Enjoy
