Sorry for the delay in updating this thread with the results! The draw took place on Saturday the 1st June @ the Pigeon Watch Charity Clay Shoot -there were 995 tickets in the draw and each £1 donation got a ticket.

To keep it fair it was decided that the order of the prizes drawn would be in the order that the shooting offers were made, as it was not possible to verify with everyone which day they would rather have. If a winner is unable to take a day, then they can either swap it with another person, or could also think about auctioning it off for Charity.

Therefore the first two prizes are for a days accompanied pigeon shooting in Hertfordshire

734 - fuzzypigeon

347 - Andy Jones

The next numbers to be drawn were for the lamping for rabbits or decoying pigeons in the Norwich area - this was upgraded to 5 days by Leeds Chimp on the day, and he has said that he is happy for each winner to choose whether they would prefer to shoot rabbits or decoy pigeons.

926 - allme

469 - piebob

438 - canthitathing

250 - Dean Sanders

302 - Twisted Sanity

The walked up grouse shooting was won by Bagsy.

Well done to all the winners - and thank you everyone for donating so generously for a really good cause -see the current total raised here: http://wherestheclayground.at/pwcharityshoot/ (more than £4,190!) :good:

:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:Congratulations To The Winners :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

Mark my shooting buddy and I look forward to meeting you. When you get a moment please send me your contact details and I will be in touch.

As explained in the OP, there are no set dates, the plan is probably around harvest time if that suits the winners but the aim is to get out on as best a day as we can.

A BIG thanks to everyone who bought tickets and contributed to the charity so generously, well done to all :good:

Hi leeds chimp, I think that is what I'll do. As much as I'd like to meet up and see that neck of the woods, it's a bit of a trek for me. I'll pick up with Teal to see what the best way is to either pick another name, or auction, or whatever.

:o Bloody hell!! 4 years of trying and I've finally won something on the Pigeonwatch raffle :good: ..............and I wasn't even there  .

Excellent prize, but unfortunately it's unlikely I'll get to Norwich to give it a whirl. If someone wants to make at least a £10 donation on just giving, they can take my place. Either that or Teal can decide

I'm in the same boat really as I live in watford and its a 250 mile round trip to Norwich so its not really viable from here, if one of the herts winners doesn't want to do a swap my prize will be going back in the pot for somebody else to make use of , shame as I've never won anything before though but its all good as its for charity anyway :-)

Contact Fuzzypigeon, he'd be travelling a fair way to come to Herts, maybe he'll be interested in a swap.

I can't find Andy Jones the second winner in the members list so I don't know where he is based.

Sorry I can't offer more days guys, I'd love to, these two were by special permision from our farmer as he doesn't usually allow anyone else on our permisions!!

'I'll buy that for a dollar', well £10 actually, but you get the drift, if that is acceptable to all???

How & where for the 'just giving'?

That's cool Cosd, I PM'd fuzzy pigeon straight away so hopefully he should respond , Enfield is just up the road and my Grandad shot around that area all of his life so I am hopefull for a positive reply , give me a chance to test out my elmer fudd hammer gun as well :-)

The shooting is actually about 20 miles from Enfield......but we could meet up at mine and drive up there together if FP swaps.....

Hi Cosd, Andy Jones here aka Mr Potter. I am assuming there is no one with the forum name Andy Jones that would be weird!

Between Son of Potter and myself we already had a modicum of luck at the PW raffle on the day, including winning a fully guided pigeon day for one shooter - at a convenient date to be arranged, donated by UK Shoot-warehouse

Now my waistline might say otherwise but I'm not a greedy man so I am going to sell the UK Shootwarehouse prize on here and keep Cosd's prize for myself. The money raised can go into Charity pot via. Just Giving.
Now I don't know what a day's guided pigeon shooting is worth so I'll give this idea a run. The first person to post on this thread with an offer to donate £100 to the PW charity (don't donate until you've got confirmation that you've won) can take the day. If that's a bit steep I'll drop the price in a day's time until it goes, think this is a variation on a Dutch auction!

Hope this is acceptable to all concerned?

Mr Potter

Edited price increased as I've just been advised that the rrp for this prize is £150! http://www.pigeonshooter.com/pages/prices.htm
