had to make the decision yesterday to put my lab to sleep,hardest thing i have ever had to do(aswell as telling 2 young kids he won't be coming home)

he was 13 years old so not had a bad innings :good:

he had a lot of things going on internally,his immune system was capput and he was getting a bit unsteady on his legs.

R.I.P benny boy,YOU WILL BE MISSED GREATLY

welling up writing this,snap out of it man :rolleyes:

I think most of us on here have been where you are now. We had to lose one of our ponies yesterday. Seeing an empty stable or dog bed is very hard when they have been around for years but as we know it does get easier with time, or a new puppy.

Feel for you..... Bonnie is 15 and has had two strokes but is still going strong. Every time I see her asleep I think not long now girl and its as if she has heard me and lets rip.... wind is terrible.......

 

She lives with the ex-wife now as she is home all the time but I know the time will come soon enough and I will blub my eye out.......

Your not alone, It comes to us all mate i lost my 17 yr old fox terrier last yr,I can't say you will get over him I'm looking sams picture now on the hearth as I write this, but remember time his the greatest healer.

he had a good life and a loving family ,as long as he didnt suffer or you prolonged it , he went with dignity have a good one benny, and atb to you and your family BB ......
