hi guys, me and driller have been out off work for nearly 2 weeks now but at the min we don't care as next week we will be more back at work than arnie,so as you know we have been shooting silly most days, while we have been watching the barley fields there have been birds all over the place, in trees on stoops etc, so today we decided to take an air rifle and have a do with that instead,i took my rapid 7,it does 32ftlb so up to 60 yard or even more we shouldn't have a problem, we drove around for nearly 2 hours shooting out the window on a farm we have which is a bit cheating but it is good sport,we ended up with 29 birds with 6 of them magpies and could have easily had quite a few more but with my gun being fac i had to leave a lot of shots that were un safe, the next time i go ime using my hw 100 177 12ftlb just to see what we get as some times fac guns arn't much better,we had 2 magpies away and a few woodies as we didn't take the dogs but it was good to let loose with an air rifle for a change, the pic is of the man him self driller swanking with my gun  cheers simon

i started my shooting days with a BSA meteor when i was 12 or 13 ever since that day i just loved air rifles,i think every one should own a decent air rifle as you can shoot a lot of vermin when a center fire or shot gun can't be used,my center fire mates think i have gone simple when i say ime on a all nighter with my air gun, when i die they will have to force my rapid 7 air rifle out of my stiff hands ha ha
