Reece
I live on the Lizard and want to get involved! Voted! It's been going on for a while. If you're interested in getting involved, look at the Cornwall Red Squirrel Project website, who organise the cull. http://www.cornwallredsquirrels.co.uk/

amateur
I think that the message/voting problem is that the link was set up after Reece had voted, If you edit the link to http://www.thisisthewestcountry.co.uk/news/cornwall_news/10653085.Slaughter_of_squirrels_planned_for_Lizard_Peninsula__VOTE then you don't get the message and (perhaps) your vote is counted

Figgy No vote is necessary, it's just a poll on a news website. And it's a bit late because the cull in question has been going on for a few years already. It's a good idea to vote and comment to try and convince any neutral readers who might otherwise be swayed by anti cull arguments.
