handlebar
Introducing the new arrival in the Handlebar house 'Watson' a Springer X Labrador and a blinkin' good dog - but all that play is tiring! I got him from MiLisCer on here and couldn't have asked for a nicer chap, full of useful information and tips - looking forward to training him (the dog that is!!) JDog
Nice looking dog. I hope that he is a success. Prepare for some less than enthusiastic comments from the....'if it isn't a pedigree labrador/springer/cocker/pointer it isn't a dog' brigade. I've got a cat and I'm sure he's not one of those and he's much bigger then my ferrets so I guess he isn't a ferret

handlebar
Just thought I'd give an update on the hound - he's progressing nicely and grown quite a bit training is going well and when there's food as incentive he learns even quicker!!! Everywhere he goes he gets so much attention I really think he's gonna get a big head!

bakerboy
It is good to see a well behaved dog. You will have to stop bringing Watson down as your Mum is softening.

handlebar
Problem is he knows it and thinks everyone wants to tellhim how lovely he is! How do I win him back you may ask? Food! He's half Lab and can smell a couple of bits of kibble when they're in my pocket!
handlebar
Well The little lad is getting bigger! Watson tipped the scales this week at 13kg a right chunky monkey - he finished his basic puppy training a couple of weeks before Christmas and starts his advanced training in the new year, he's making great progress and I can't wait to get him out in the field
bakerboy
And I am looking at taking over a struggling syndicate so that Steven and Tim (handlebar and handlebar 2) plus Watson will have somewhere to go, does that count as 4 generations?
