There was a program on TV a while back about the spread of wolfs in the US and the people said that they put up with the wolfs taking there stock but they got a bit peed off when they started killing there dogs they lost four dogs to wolfs in a few weeks and had to keep the others in the house or pens as the only way to keep them safe that is why people shoot the wolfs I did not now that they got that big you would not want to meet one of them on a dark night.

God dam America that've all the big stuff lolattachicon.gifimage.jpg

Stot by a 13yr old with a get this hand gun!

Looks like he's had several attempts at different parts of the body first, not my idea of a clean kill. I'd say he's a yard or two behind that pig too so it's not as big as it seems.

Big wolf though,. Spectacular and awesome animals though they are, as with any animal that come into conflict with human activity a certain amount of population control is necessary.

Chap here at work went on a wolf hunt in Norway, normally quite reasonable folk but these Norwegians they have a hatred for wolves going back centuries and do not seem to tolerate any in the country, no matter what their own laws say. Tracks in the snow showed a pair had crossed over from Sweden, 30+ hunters surrounds the area of forest whilst two pushed themout. One was killed at the time, then the other was tracked in the snow for 10 days across 4 counties until it was found and likewise killed. Seemed a shame to me, the poor ****** did not have a chance unless it snowed again to cover its tracks, and it did'nt.

as for all the pics above , well its all about perspective innit ?!?

Just browsing and came across thisattachicon.gifimage.jpg

Looks like something out of The Lord of the rings lol

Think I'd just run if a seen this!

That's either a very big wolf or a very small man holding it! Some of the photos shown look like they have had the "perspective" carefully played about with to make the animals look larger than they are but with the bloke actually holding the wolf up I don't think the size is questionable - If you could tame a wolf that size like the furry friend huggers over in the uK think they can "tame" foxes by hand feeding them you wouldn't have many problems with uninvited cold callers would you?
