fenboy
Any recommendation for a new pair of wellies , budget £75 Would prefer neoprene lined and a zipped side if possible , though the later is not essential.
oscarsdad
Keep an eye on John Norris for their Hunter seconds...the label is slightly wonky but brings £140 wellies down to £60ish.

chesterse
Seeland allround, Sportsman Gun Centre is advertising non neo for £44.99 and neo line for £59.99. I do a lot of walking doing bush beating and these are the best wellies I've come across regardless of price.
fenboy
been having a look at the muck boots , what are they like size wise ? do you need a bigger size to get a decent thick sock on with them.

You won't want thick socks on with them.
gazyapp
+1 for the seeland wellies.... Bought my other half a pair of full zip neoprene's. very good wellie I think and the zip seems to be good and strong.

I went up one size as I still like to wear thick socks even though you probably don't need to. I'd rather my feet were too hot than too cold. telf
jack pyke neoprene are around that mark i think, these are about the only thing i would recommend from j.p,had these a year a half and still ok oops added the sametime as you Edited October 21, 2013 by telf
gazbev
Grub boots.......they are the same as muck boots but with a vibram sole. I have had both and when the mucks wear on the sole they get slippy but I still keep them in the boot of the car. That's a sensible budget I have had some aigle boots and although they are comfortable they are no better than the above in my opinion. kyska
I also like the seeland, mixed views on quality though, mine are fine
gav05
Seeland estate 5mm neoprene. no zip on mine as they just get in the way or snap but they do do them with one. but they are warm very comfortable and have a vibram sole as well. Cwg or now mole valley have them on offer think at 75 ish from 100.
norfolk dumpling
Got some hunters off eBay - £75 turned out they were the £139 pair. Think seller was Garden for Less. So far excellent and very comfortable and I walk miles over Norfolk plough.
rtaylor
Another +1 for the Seeland's. My missus non-zip ones are about 3 years old and I bought a pair of zip ones 6 months ago. All good so far, about £70 from John Norris.
BellySlater
Keep an eye on John Norris for their Hunter seconds...the label is slightly wonky but brings £140 wellies down to £60ish. As above, can't go wrong. Neoprene lines and very hardwearing. Not as comfortable as my Chameau's but for beating in they are great
