Double with the Archer.

Due to the weather here being slightly calmer than most places last night I thought I have a look to see if Charlie was about.

I spoke to the Farmer earlier in the day and said I may call up and after bagging a nice Dog there last week the Farmer said definately call up! -no need to twist my arm on that one.Lol

I arrived at the Farm about 7:30pm and after a nice warm cuppa and a chat we headed out to the fields to see if there was anything about.

The same as the other night the Farmer had my Yukon Ranger Pro NV Monocular and I had my trusty Archer Gen 3 NV unit.As soon as we got to one field I was told "there's a Fox about 80 yards away",he 'd spotted the first Fox with my Ranger Pro before I could look.I made sure it was a good and safe shot and the 50gr Norma V-Max out of my .22-250 hit the Target-one dog down!

We then had a little walk and after about half an hour headed back toward the first Fox when I spotted another sniffing his mate.Again with a good backstop no.2 dog was in the bag.

Another resounding "Well done" from the Farmer!

Another pleasing night indeed.

Top job mate!:yes::yes: I would like to add an Archer to my Christmas List but I think I know what the wife would say about it!:no::lol::no::no:

I was hoping to get out last night but the weather told me to think again about it. Hopefully I will be able to get out tonight on the permission next door to where the Furry Friend Hugger feeds "her" foxes!
