Dave 101
I have just refurbished this Vickers Armstrong Martini action rifle , it dates from the 1930s but its a superb little rifle . This was before stripping . The stock has been stripped as it was varnished , steamed it to remove all the dings , after rubbing down it has had 15 coats of raw linseed oil and 3 coats of Briwax . As the stock wasnt original to the action it needed some inletting and bedding . The butt plate is aluminium so I polished it and recut the grooves with a file to sharpen its appearance . Just need to get it to the range and see how it shoots . Dave

swift4me
Here are a few of mine... This was the last stock I built. Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 in .270 Here is my 220 Swift. It started life as a Remington 700 with a 26" bull barrel. I sent the barreled action to Christensen Arms in Utah where they machined off over 2 pounds of barrel and wrapped it in graphite. I restocked it into a superlight synthetic. Shoots 55 grain V-max molys at 3,850 fps. It can shoot up to 4,300 fps with 40 gr, but I don't want to pay for another one of those barrels. Here's a rough photo of my 35 Whelen on the job in western Alaska. Another pre-64 Model 70 I had rebarreled and did a quicky stock job for the hunt. Thanks for looking. Imperfection
New rifle. Its a Mosin Nagant Russian service rifle in 7.62x54R calibre and made in 1934.Maybe not to everyones taste and i do admit that it looks a bit agricultural, but i like old military rifles.Kinda kicks a bit with the old surplus military ammunition, but its still fun!
