mick miller
Does it leave the kidneys intact? I mean, are they left in situ? Nice video by the way, good work. Clear narration and informatively shot.
kent
Although I have never got on with the "popping" method I like this vid and I quite like that fast skinning method for when you have a stack to sort.

NickB65
I have tried this method loads of times and on smaller rabbits it is quite easy but some bigger bucks it is tricky. Just remember it does not work with body shot rabbits as well :-) - I learnt the hard way.

Davyo
This is a method we have stared to use since using NV and getting bigger quicker bags.On large rabbits to make it easier,I make a small incision between the back legs . Really enjoy watching his video's always has clear instructions.

FalconFN
He does make it look easier than it is. I've tried a few times but always end up with broken ribs (rabbits, not mine) and a soggy shoe. I stick with the split and flick method. peejay
friend of mine showed me how to do this, but he doesnt do any of the younger ones like this as, for some reason, the **** bag sometimes ruptures..

Fieldsports
He does make it look easier than it is. I've tried a few times but always end up with broken ribs (rabbits, not mine) and a soggy shoe. I stick with the split and flick method. So sorry mate. I really do not make it look easier ! It is how I do it. I have learned dozens of people how to do it correct and they all manage great now. Its a case of if you can do it...you can do it. And if you can't you make a mess as you do it wrong. It is easier to show people how to do this face to face so I can correct the grip and the pressure they apply. It works fine but it has to become second nature to do it all the time, Most common faults are : Squeezing too hard, applying too much pressure. Its not really needed. Leaving the rabbits un gutted for a time where the guts begin to expand and gas. ( Can be as little as 1 hour ) Starting to push in the wrong place with to much force.....you break ribs. You do not squeeze the guts !...you squeeze above them....squeeze the guts and be too rough you will pop them ! Begin with small or half grown stuff until you get the hang of it. AND remember..if it has a bullet hole in the guts ! Yes it is already burst so do not push gut these rabbits, Its a knack that you can do if you know how to. Like anything else......its easy as long as you know how to do it. Thanks Steve Edited March 24, 2014 by Fieldsports
