Its not hard to be brave when they now that they have the Americans standing behind them if it was not for that the Arabs would have sent them back to Russia and America and all of the other countries that they came from as you can see I am no big fan of the Israelis they killed lots of our boys back in the late 40s and our proud of it I also have nothing against the Jews its when they get to Israil they seem to turn in to the very thing that they claim to be fighting against. 88b
The Jews have been persecuted for a few thousand years it's no wonder they are so aggressive , as was said they don't take **** from anyone. That being the case, who's going to stop the Iranians from developing nuclear weapons, which you no doubt see as a huge benefit to world peace, since the other Arab nations can't organise a drink-up in a brewery (no doubt due to religious issues) based on the Six Day and Yom Kippur Wars? Oh yeah, the awful Israelis... Be careful what you wish for.
Malik
+1 I admire the Israelis, they don't take any **** from anybody...Hit them and they hit back..Nothing wrong with that in my book. Its not the taking any **** from people which is the problem, its the slaughter of thousands of innocent people which is. Its no secret about the atrocities they have committed and do commit. If it was any other country without the american lobby, they'd be that far into sanctions they'd be pals with north korea. I find it ironic that the world is meant to feel sorry for the jews for what they have been through, yet they turn the gaza strip into a ghetto... If someone bulldozed your house down then pushed you into the next town and put a massive concrete wall up, controlled what you can and cant receive, id fight too. The israelis are out for themselves, they will back stab the americans and the british when it suits them.

You have an axe to grind, Malik, so let's not waste time debating the wrongs and wrongs of stopping suicide bombers blowing up buses and schools. Instead, let's remember the soldier who sent an awful lot of ****-poor Arab soldiers off the Allah during his 30 year military career. Altogether now, "If I was a rich man, di di di di da da..." Dekers
The bloke is dead (I thought he was years back) I'm not trying to be funny, but why didn't they put him on diet during his coma, serious question, would it not have been quite easy, and dare I say medically beneficial? Britain and the world had a lot of problems with Palestine/Israel immediately after WWII, my Father was there, there are two sides to most stories and anyone with an open mind can have a degree of sympathy for Palestine! Flashman
Anyone who thinks Ariel Sharon was more than a piece of **** should look up Sabra and Shatila. I did, "The Sabra and Shatila massacre was the slaughter of between 762 and 3,500 civilians, by a Lebanese Christian militia in the Shatila refugee camp in Beirut." It's funny, the if the PLO and Black September carried on in the UK as they did in Europe and the Middle East, we'd all have been up in arms. Oh yes, we had the IRA instead and I tend to lump them all in the same sewer.

Oh yes, we had the IRA instead and I tend to lump them all in the same sewer. 1982 Lebanon War and Sabra and Shatila massacre As Defense Minister, Sharon launched an invasion of Lebanon called Operation Peace for Galilee, later known as the 1982 Lebanon War, following the shooting of Israel's ambassador in London, Shlomo Argov. Sharon intended the operation to eradicate the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) from its state within a state inside Lebanon, but the war is primarily remembered for the Sabra and Shatila massacre. In a three-day massacre between September 16 and 18, between 762 and 3,500 civilians, mostly Palestinians and Lebanese Shiites, in the Sabra neighborhood and the adjacent Shatila refugee camp were killed by the Phalanges— Lebanese Maronite Christian militias. Nearly all of those killed were women, children or elderly men. The Phalange militia went into the camps to clear out PLO fighters while Israeli forces surrounded the camps,. blocking camp exits and providing logistical support. The killings led some to label Sharon "the Butcher of Beirut". Edited January 15, 2014 by Sprackles
