Maddaftspaniel
Was out for an hour flighting doos into a conifer wood. Shot 4 one of which was little more than a squab. I know doos are reputed to breed all the year round and it has been very mild this winter but I have never shot such an immature bird in February before

JDog
'Doos' is often used North of the border and I believe that it is an abbreviation of 'doves'. Not that wood pigeons are doves of course.
