Lord Geordie
Baked potato is better than Pasta if your on a diet mind even Pasta has Fat but potatos have a miniscule amount. There are a lot of so called Half fat cheeses too but you can't beat a bit of Edam on a baked potato. Low fat and if you brown off some diced onion in a dry pan to mix with the edam makes a LOVELY potato filling and VERY low fat You can STILL have a Roast dinner when on a diet Roast your Chicken in a roasting bag so you don't need to baste it with oil. Have about 3oz of chicken breast on your plate with the skin removed as the skin harbours the fat. WATER roast potatos (i am NOT kidding) you can still roast potatos basting with water and a little salt. As much steamed or boiled veg as you want (if you use a pressure cooker for veg) use whats left of the water in the bottom as a stock for your Gravy Rice your Potatos but add no butter just a little skimmed milk there is NO need to miss out on Roast dinners even ON a diet LG
