Reeceknight
see quite a few people keep saying "find a cartridge it likes and stick to it" ......... not a chance! If it's meant to cycle all shapes and sizes then that's what I want it to do lol

Daz1986
Both barrels? Do you mean it slam fires 2 carts or do you have 2 barrels? Do you know what I am no particular fan of semis but thus is just plain dangerous! Haha mine is the o/u not the semi so yes both barrels. HDAV
Haha mine is the o/u not the semi so yes both barrels. Makes a bit more sense but still not good double discharges normally mean worn or weak sears, this means your safety catch may well not work. I would get it checked it ASAP. I wouldn't be happy with a gun that doubles at will.......... Regardless of what carts i put in it!
simonix
Best thing about my hatsan? Its a pump. No cycling or jammimg issues (any cart size/load). Ever. Just saying! ;-)
la bala
Its going to cost you a packet in cartridges if its going full auto. I have had an escort coming up 2 years, and can count the jams on one hand, at the price, i am more than happy with mine for pigeon shooting. Hope you get sorted That will teach me to spout my mouth off, i went out today and had 2 jams in 4 hours.
bubble
hi bumped into an acquaintance at the gun club today 'how's the new hatsan going?' you can guess the rest....... it jams, it gone back, refunded and a new yildz OU bought in its place he blamed dirt / soot from the cartridges. evo
reece, just give it back to the shop mate and get your money back,,they are a total crock of **** . its no wonder I don't like anyone shooting a semi auto when they are out with me on the crows and pigeons, I am sick to death of people moaning about their HATSAN jamming, not firing properly and so forth, buy cheap and you get cheap , simple as, I now know why my backside is always like a rabbits nose when a shooting buddy uses a hatsan, the bloody things should be banned or melted down, you probably get one gun in every 1000 that works correctly, and cosd its my opinion and its fact , I do not feel safe when someone is using a hatsan semi around me, they are renowned for faults, if you (cosd) have got a decent one then good on ya mate but they are just cheap takk atb Evo

darren m
reece - how did it go ? did you get your refund hatsan haters - why do these guns jam so much if you strip one and look at the parts , theres not much in them to go wrong in fact all semi's look basically the same . is it the cheap metal , the fine tolerances or what . they are proofed at the proof house for gods sakes , how many shots would they put through them action and barrel i had one of the first escorts mk1 , i bought it second hand , never cleaned it , never jammed they are not all cr*p , i just think theres so many of them on the market that the law of averages comes into play
HDAV
they are proofed at the proof house for gods sakes , how many shots would they put through them action and barrel 1 its proof...... they wont check the mag the cycling just 1 or 2 proof loads (i think probably loaded one at a time) inspect and stamp move on to the next one http://www.cip-bobp.org/epreuves%20video Videos in link show you the process at proof and what happens to some that fail... Harnser
My pigeon gun is a urika 2 that I have had for about 4 years . It has never ever let me down .I shoot all loads and case lengths ,it never fails . Is it more expensive than a hatson ? yes it is . You could proberbly buy three hatson escorts for the price of the Beretta . Depends what you want from a gun .I want reliability like I do for my cars ,this costs money and looked after the beretta wont lose any money . You could buy three hatstands ,one to shoot with ,one in the menders and one in the car just incase . The hatson escort is the most talked about gun on this forum and the most offered for sale gun on this forum . Harnser. darren m
true and the most popular probably for one reason or another i am not a gun snob ( i dont think ) , i dont really care what make it is as long as it functions and fits i,ve had in semi's a beretta 301 and 2 , remington 1100, winchester mk2 1400 , webley & scott 810 , hatsan escorts two of mk1 and mk2 ( 2012 ) and i still own one. i,ve also owned lots of o/u shotguns including :- beretta , browning , miroku , franchi etc etc and my favourite is the lanber in fact i,ve owned 3 and still own one there is good and bad in all
lloydi73
I had exactly the same problems with regards to the ejector jammimg, needed two pairs of hands, one to hold ejector and feed slide open and one to slide cartridge back into chamber.....Brought mine new, and it jammed straight away....got rid of it after only firing it about 40 times and bought a Beretta A300 instead, best descision I made!!
