henry d
Decided to try near where I was flighting woodpigeons yesterday as I`d seen lots of slots. The wind was near non existant and every step across the stubble sounded loud, anyway I made my way up the dip towards the wood and I glassed in front of me and could make out a roe shape but I wasn`t close enough to see if it was a buck or doe. I managed to creep up behind a bale and gave it a look 1 mature buck, 1 yearling buck, 1 mature doe and 3 yearling does I panting a bit so I took 5, when I looked again they had moved into an area with too many branches to get a shot,B****** ! Then 2 youngsters have a bit of a shoving match and one moves into a clearing........it`s a young doe........quartered away from me......bang. My first with my 6.
