eccles
Took Dyfan out again earlier for some more rabbit shooting practice. Went up to a new part of his farm for some hmr rabbit shooting . Rabbits everywhere and i mean everywhere. Most of the first lot of rabbits where unsafe for him to shoot off the pod. We walked around seeing plenty of rabbits,we then walked to the top looking down the valley as you will see in pics. Dyfan shoot quite a few rabbits as we walked back along the top lovely safe backstops. Shot a few more as we walked back to the car some nice one's out to about 120yards. I could see a lot on the other steep banked fields opposite ,said to Dyfan lets see how you shoot up hill . He shot 4 out to 100 yards missing 1 , then i seen some more rabbits higher up the hill about the 180y mark said try them, he asked shall we go closer no take a shot from here. Told him take the 1 5 or 6 yards from that stone wall. I put the rifle down adjusted the pod ready for him, told him crosshairs on top of it told him take your time,he fired and down went the rabbit. by gum he was chuffed. We walked up to take a few pics with them rabbits. He shoot 2 more after in next field which where left. Back to farm for a cuppa and Welsh cakes Few pics added of his land and more off my permissions.

What more could a shooting man want? I don't think there is much more that I can add to what JDog has just said! PW needs more people like Terry who with the knowledge and experience that he have who are willing to spend the time to take youngsters out and teach them all the aspects of safe shooting, marksmanship and fieldcraft. It has to be the best way forward to bring new blood into our sport. Once again I trully raise my hat to you, well done the both of you!
