Davyo
Ff4 is worth a look very rigid and they use one of the stronger motors.
foxybingo
people are slow to reply to this topic as the last time this topic was aired it rapidly became "THE NIGHT OF THE BANNED" I'll risk it!!! I've got an FF4 Multibird flapper and it's ****n brill.. it's looks the dogs doo das,so well built and nice colour i can drop off the ground spike. (which by the way has a nice built in footplate for hard ground), and It fits onto my bouncer, which will be cool when the crops are high. I can use my sillsocks hypaflaps or fit the dead bird cradle and use real birds. I'm going to get a speed controller for it, as i put a crow on it and it was way to fast, so that will sort it out, so I guess that's goodbye then!! lol
Zapp
We have no problem with genuine customers giving their opinion on products - if we did then the product name could simply be filtered out automatically.

Andy RV
What do people think of the quality of finish of the AA flapper? Just received mine a couple of weeks ago and it looks like it's been sprayed with a spray can, very poor finish with small areas peeling?...
ayano3
The paint quality on mine was ok but some of the paint on the spike is coming off but I expect that maybe due to the nature of where it goes. I'm more than happy with mine and will be having another one from aa soon.
Penelope
Don't really care what it looks like, just so long as it works and the price is reasonable. merseapaul
I ordered Tuesday and it arrived today (Thursday) from aa decoys, looks very effective from human perspective when tried in the garden, can't wait to try in the field. Being involved in electronics/ engineering in the past I would say it's a very realistic and fair price to pay (£60 with 7ah battery, random timer and postage). I was toying with making one but unless you have all the parts, materials and equipment needed its far more cost effective to buy these. The way more expensive ones that are basically the same - well I personally would not want to put the mark up in someone else's pocket for what they are!.
