wacker
Hi all, In three weeks time we are picking up our new Yellow / fox red Lab Bitch. We already have a Cocker named Millie, so we are after name ideas not ending in 'ie' or 'y' for easy differentiation when called, e.g those on our short list already are: Amber, Mable, Megan, Bella. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks

Cranfield
Keep it short and sharp, "Buck" would work in certain frustrating circumstances. "Gyp", "Megan" could be "Meg", etc.
ollie
What about rua? This is an irish word used to describe red in animals or live things.

figgy
Mate called his dog Leck. Good strong vocal tones in the field for the dog to respond to. Figgy

WGD
I'm curious why not? He's already got one called Millie. Common practice is to send the dog for a retrieve by name if handling more than one, two names beginning with the same letter and/or ending the same way tends to lead to confusion at some point.
