rem708
definitely Brattonsound - just look at the logo in the top right hand corner of the door AND the shape of the flag cutout Edited August 29, 2014 by rem708

dankidd
This may be coming up for sale soon then... What would I be looking at?!
Dicky Knee
I think a new Brattonsound 9 gun cabinet is around £200. Looks like it is in good condition..maybe £100-£120? (does it have both sets of keys?) Make sure you are close enough to pick it up as it will cost a lot to courier it.
semiautolee
brattonsound mate
lloydi73
Definitely a Brattonsound....I have a 5 gun safe from them with exactly the same livery on it. I paid £230 new for it......I think the 9 gun cabinet new was about £420, so if it's second hand I'd say you'll be paying £280/£320 depending on condition and if it still has both keys..... lloydi73
Please tell me where you bought yours, I will avoid shopping there. The safe shop and all other leading manufacturers are like for like...rather than make stupid statements, carry out some research first!! If I knew how to post a link I would!! Nine gun cabinet Brattonsound Premier is £335 brand new..delivery is free, but fixing bolts etc are extra!!
Gordon R
I might be wrong, but it looks more like the seven gun model. OP might check the dimensions and then Brattonsound's site.
andrew2416
To be fair to wildrover 77 I bought a 11 gun brattonsound cabinet brand new and it only cost me 250.
dankidd
Once I have the cabinet I will double check all measurements and cross reference them with the measurements on the Brattonsound site. Thanks for the advice guys.

bluesj
Good find, and realistic prices. 300 odd is way too much found somewhere else that was just over the 200 mark when i was after one but the picked up a second hand one for £100. need another one now but may just build one in to the cuboard instead, should be able to make it in to a 30 gun cabinet
JABB
I wonder how the FEO would react to a strong room. I have a 6' square cupboard, with block walls all round. If I put a steel door and frame on it, with 2 7 lever locks, I wonder if that would suffice.

I would have to line it with steel but once it was in and bolted together you would have to take the roof off or knock the wall down to get it out the house.
