kent
Nothing in ALI for me. Personally i like the MAE scout in the smaller stuff all stainless with the Black mil spec coating, get the balance back by shortening if required .223 don't need much length
malkiserow
It's not really a good time to discuss Moderators! careful Tightchoke! be careful lads, don't go putting any Camo on the mods like our Kid in Yorkshire did For any moderator on a gun..... do go as light as possible if you are walking lots IMHO What will the gun get used for? Dunkield
The ASE is steel and a near perfect .223 mod IMO
adamskiseal
Thanks, where's the best place to buy the ASE? is it worth buying new or a second hand one (if I can find it)
Dunkield
They come through Jackson Rifles, so you can call them and let them know where you are and they will ship to your chosen rfd. You don't see many that many secondhand ones, which can only be a good sign.
BattleFieldRelics
I've got an ASE Utra jetz-z CQBS on my .223 AR15 The CQBS is slightly smaller than the CQB. Also gets rid of muzzle flash. Well recommended!
BattleFieldRelics
I bought mine 3 weeks ago. The cheapest place I found was on the net and it was £300, so I price matched it with my local RFD who ordered it in. (Saved me £25 if I'd of ordered it direct and he received it)
aister
ASE Utra jetz-z CQB I will second that, I think its a fantastic moderator.
Sharpshooter.123
I had a pes on my 223. Awesome mod although a little front heavy.
Rem223
I have used a T8 on several rifles and it works well, but this is the second one after the previous one rotted out. I now have an ASE SL5 on a .204 and I am very happy with it. It isn't as quiet as the T8 but its substantially lighter and its stainless. mick miller
Mae t12 or t12 scout, very very good. Had a ase northstar, also very good. Wouldnt touch anything aluminium personally.
DaveK
I have a T8AR on mine which does the job really well. I've had this for years though and I'm sure there are better and cheaper on the market now.

Thunderbird
Another vote for Aimzonic Plus, mine is amazing on my A-Bolt, and it reduces both recoil and noise to HMR-ish levels. Not heavy either, and a five year guarantee.
adamskiseal
I got offered an Ase ultra for 269 today (new)
