That man could shoot corvids with a pea shooter. He has promised me some lessons so I should improve. I must remember to take plenty of peas along.

Darn good shooting there Stevo. You're definitely a half handy shot. I thought you were going to take a treble there which takes a bit of doing with a pumper.

I've been using a 28g O/U carrying a lot of choke and get either a clean kill or miss. The smaller gauges are really nice to use behind a bit of netting.

yes as long you use the calibre correctly its a VERY effective tool to have in your cabinet , I was using it today and provided you are putting the birds in the centre of the pattern its effective out to 35 yds , I was using Eley magnum 18 gram of # 6 with has 160 pellets in , combine that with a pattern as tight as a ducks bottom its devastating on carrions

 

the gamebore I tried today were 16 gram # 6 ( 150 pellets) ,
