seeker
I have had guns with Briley and Teague chokes fitted, both makes were excellent. One plus for Teague is the easy availability of extras. If you don't like the T-key get the Briley fast key, it works with Teagues and all other makes. I was told that Teague would 'adjust' the chokes to give the desired pattern with a specified cartridge, rather like polishing our a fixed choke to a spec ? JohnfromUK
A previous owner had one of my guns Teagued, and I have ordered additional chokes from Teague. I can only say I have had excellent and very fast service and they have been a pleasure to deal with. I wish all suppliers had that sort of customer service. Can't fault the product either. Strongly recommended.
figgy
Teague as he has been the man of choice for years for a very good reason. As a poster said if you use a specific cartridge all the time he can regulate the pattern to your cartridge. The chokes are nearly invisible and never heard one bad experience. You can buy a universal choke tube speed wrench that has a thumb turn on top to expand the ferrule in the choke to grip it. You could choose to have a second set of barrels for grouse with shorter tubes and more open chokes. Secomd sets of barrels might be the way to go. 28 inch, half & quarter for gun 1 (out front) then quarter & half for gun 2 (going away). Might just work! Westley
Let me revise the question. In relation to game guns, who would you use to bore out the barrels and fit flush fitting chokes. Teague, or Briley? WHY, WHY, WHY ? stick with fixed chokes, find a cartridge that suits and then 'if it aint broken, do NOT fix it'. I have yet to see a fixed choke gun that has been 'improved' by having it multi choked.

Might just work! Yes it just might, English gunmakers seem to think it did when they produced 'Grouse pairs' choked as you describe, and in S x S too complete with double triggers. Reiver XXV
Another Teague user, delighted with their performance as well as the choke key. Highly recommended
