and me....I've been extremely lucky enough to see some of the worlds top guitarist's over the last 40 odd years...Halen, Gilmour, Slash, Clapton, Carlos, Gibbons, Frampton, Rutherford, Harrison, King, Moore and Vai amongst them...May is certainly up there in that bracket...like his politics or not...at the Mercury tribute concert at Wembley on Easter Monday 92 he was simply sensational...God was it really 23 years ago...I'm feeling bloody old..

Harrison is the pick of the bunch for me Mike, others could play faster or maybe had better technical skills, but George played with feeling.

So you missed out on Jimi Hendrix then?

Sadly yes...he died in 70 I went to my first concert; BB King In 74 -75.. Would have loved to have seen Hendrix..I've got quite a collection of his recordings

My Late Dad saw him at the Isle of Wight and also took my eldest Brother..He also saw Dillon pre electric and Muddy Waters in 58...he said Waters was the most Brilliant Guitarist that ever lived and Hendrix was a close second.

I remember asking him what he thought of Slash once he said " Slash isn't that another word for **** " so don't think he thought that much of him !

I wouldn't disagree with you.
