aga man
Another fine production by Jonathan Mcgee there. Some very high birds presented there at Warter. A nice advert for York guns too
Scully
I'll watch anything by Jonathan McGee; thanks for posting.
cloudwalker
Good video but I am afraid those pheasants were too high to be shot, especially on the first 2 drives. You saw many birds just pricked.
motty
Good video but I am afraid those pheasants were too high to be shot, especially on the first 2 drives. You saw many birds just pricked. You can tell they are probably far too high when you hear all those shots with nothing falling.
Big Al
I enjoyed that. Really, really good quality video. I have to agree with cloudwalker in that I wouldn't have risked wounding birds at extreme range. Whilst shooting at any live quarry carries some degree of risking wounding, I believe that chance should be minimised. He is clearly a fine shot but he seems uncomfortably casual about wounding. I suppose it's the wildfowler in me. Each to their own.
ollie
Far too high those shots, you can hear some of the shots hitting the birds & then the bird gliding on. I'd saw the pickers up will have some job at that estate!!!
Berettacocker
Most we're not out of range, but it takes a certain person to kill these birds with consistency, and I'm afraid to say most can't. I'd love a day at Warter Priory, but if I could not kill, say 1for 3 I wouldn't be happy. If you can't kill a bird, and I don't mean just wing or drop it, you shouldn't be shooting at them. No good shouting " good shot " if the person has taken 10 shots to get it ! :(
