I enjoyed that. Really, really good quality video.

 

I have to agree with cloudwalker in that I wouldn't have risked wounding birds at extreme range. Whilst shooting at any live quarry carries some degree of risking wounding, I believe that chance should be minimised. He is clearly a fine shot but he seems uncomfortably casual about wounding. I suppose it's the wildfowler in me. Each to their own.

Most we're not out of range, but it takes a certain person to kill these birds with consistency, and I'm afraid to say most can't. I'd love a day at Warter Priory, but if I could not kill, say 1for 3 I wouldn't be happy. If you can't kill a bird, and I don't mean just wing or drop it, you shouldn't be shooting at them. No good shouting " good shot " if the person has taken 10 shots to get it ! :(

Exactly. These were supposed to be high bird experts with super loads- what was the shot to kill ratio???

Cloud walker i agree with your post .On one of there videos they say they would recommend it to anyone so i thought i would have a look at the price .....£2660 for half a day 500 hundred bag day between 9 guns I'm afraid i couldn't afford to have a go ha . I will after stick to clays !.
