Fog,crows,sore head & crushed nuts!

Staggered out this AM in the thick fog to check for more fox.

Ended up with three crows down. I like fog for sneaking up on crows.

Last night however it left me with a sore head! The bad fall that is!

After taking my wife out for the afternoon, on our return I popped out for the last two hours of light. On climbing a style the bottom rung broke! Next thing I knew I was flat on top of my rifle, of which smacked me across the back of my head so hard it nearly knocked me out!

It also had the charming effect of ramming my right testicle somewhere up under my right arm pit! Or so it feels!!

So lets recap.

In March I lost my job.

Got a new job.

Third week at new job lose time due to flue.

Crack my skull yesterday and performed half a castration on myself all at once!

So pretty fed up all around then!

After cleaning the gun of soft clay like mud zero checked out fine so that's good.

The pictures.

Soak in the bath. Good Sunday dinner you will feel right as rain.

Not many can continue to shoot after crushed nuts. You must be tough as old boots.

Shame about the flu and losing your old job, but its great you got a new job soon after.

There is a whole year ahead of good shooting days. Enjoy.

Lol, yes bump gone and nuts back in place!

Glad to hear it mate.Try not to be so clumsy..though saying that when I was about 15 I was out with the 12 bore and trying to cross a brook that was flooded. Nice dead tree across..perfect..put some weight on and it was ok..full weight on and straight in the brook over my head. Managed to keep the gun in the air so it didnt get wet but I got soaked...funny now but not amused at the time.
