Gordon R
Once his guilt is established, I trust he will spend many years in prison.

CaptainBeaky
Or a Smith and Wesson pistol chambered for 9 mm Luger? And he had a bolt only for an Enfield rifle? Is that a controlled component?
Grandalf
Or a Smith and Wesson pistol chambered for 9 mm Luger? And he had a bolt only for an Enfield rifle? Is that a controlled component? Presumably he has the other parts of the weapon stashed somewhere.

Jega
Although not directly connected to this particular incident this really is another instance of the futility of the proposed air gun ban/licensing in Scotland . The responsible shooters both air-gun and live round are not the problem ,regardless of any proposed legislation the wrong un's will get hold of guns with the same ease they always have . saddler
And he had a bolt only for an Enfield rifle? Is that a controlled component? Rifle bolts are pressure bearing parts so controlled under Section 1.
CaptainBeaky
Rifle bolts are pressure bearing parts so controlled under Section 1.Ah ok, thanks. That would explain why the bolts in deac'd rifles have big chunks ground off them.
