Penelope
As the rumblings mount that dead Ed must go, who will follow? The return of the prodigal brother possibly?

Penelope
True, to a point, but I'd like to see hopeless Ed remain, he is the biggest weapon against them. Who cares?
Paul223
I think Ed will resign today, or at the latest tomorrow! I don't see any credible leaders in labour at the moment...... Plenty of wannabe champagne socialists

chrisjpainter
She's the only real choice. The pre-election favourites: Ed Balls(up), Milliband, and Jim murphy have all been humiliated, either nationally or in their constituencies, so where to go? Nick Robinson's been talking about this election being an execution line for a generation of labour heavyweights
Mungler
Please let them keep Ed. They reckon it was Neil Kinnock who kept Maggie in. Just heard Glenda Jackson kept her seat only by about 50 votes - gutted. Her kicked to the curb would have been a golden hattrick

grrclark
Cooper She has to be up there and now makes it easier with her man being out on his ear. Chuka Umunna is a possibility too. I would bet a few quid on Cooper
Blunderbuss
Two minds about this, Cooper is poison but that might make them even more unelectable (if that's possible), so hey why not? Edited May 8, 2015 by Blunderbuss

Vince Green
Labour need to return to the principles they were founded on. A fair day's pay for a fair day's work. Its not happening, Falling wages, open door immigration and benefits from the cradle to grave impacts most on the lives of traditional Labour supporters. New Labour thought they were clever, they thought they could buy support instead of earning it the hard way. It requires men with grit and determination to turn that one around

I really hope they do,a man who is totally over confident and gets caught out by anyone with half a brain in most interviews he gives,he believes his own spin totally, but is a shallow character. It would be the best thing for the Tory party.
