keg
Its interesting how the dailymail portrays it compared to other sources. Others say they are protesting about the welfare cuts If they want to demonstrate about the weather they are free to do so, it doesn't excuse their behaviour and desecration of a war memorial to the very people who died to give them such freedoms. HDAV
Yesterday, and that well known poor person Charlotte Church was there. Don't you love freedom of speech, imagine if it was state controlled. Wasn't she in cardiff protesting? According to documents, her company Charlotte Church Ltd, has a net worth of 3.65m quid, which would give her more than double the annual UK salary to live off of if she DID retire now. But it seems that the 28-year-old needs more than £50,730 a year to keep her afloat, as her spending habits are ker-razy. But Charl has always been bad with money, apparently, and struggles to live according to her means. She recently told Stylist: "I haven’t got a lot of money. I’ve got enough to be comfortable if I was reasonable for the rest of my life, but I’m not reasonable, so I will have to find a way to sustain my lifestyle." https://uk.celebrity.yahoo.com/gossip/omg/charlotte-church-has-%C2%A33-7-million-in-bank-despite-complaining-about-finances-145348439.html Sounds like a perfect New Labour candidate to me I expect we may see her in "safe" seat round here at some point...... Lol The lefties in the 1970s like Benn never jumped ship to Russia so i don't expect to see this lot going any time soon.,.. I would love to know where they think the public money comes from?? saddler
Now that the SNP have a foothold in London, I expect nothing less than more of the same sort of behaviour as displayed here. Hope that they catch the person that did the vandalism & give him/her an equal amount of publicity to the Charlie Gilmour trial. How about invite them to clean it off in front of the media & their elderly family members? - in addition to some time inside of course. grrclark
Wooden spoon there? On a serious note, what do we all define as rich? 50k a year? £100k? I guess that depends on what your starting point is. I see an awful lot of comments on social media that an MP's salary makes them rich, which is about £70k or so i think. Also depends on household income too, a couple on £40k each are much better of than 1 person on £80k. Rich is very subjective, a salary above £150k is not rich, but is significant enough to attract the extra 5% tax burden.
