"eaten by small furry things"

Would that be whippets, pigeons or have you had a raiding party of wild sporrens from over the border :lol:

That would be either mice or rats me thinks - tis properly knackered anyway!

The sporraned folk were not to blame!

Whilst not usually a big fan of Jack Pyke I've had one of these for ducks for the last two seasons and its looking ok for a third - decent for £24 delivered;

I've also got an Avery floating decoy rucksack which is good for 12x goose shells and dries quickly - I got this in the club auction but can't find a UK link;

I too, use one of the Jack Pyke bags and have no issues with it.

As for a UK link to the Avery bags, see below.

I have had a Jack Pyke bag for the last 5 years and have had no problems whatsoever with it. It's a lot lighter than my previous ex army bag and has plenty of pockets etc plus wide shoulder straps for comfort. Seems good value to me and has had lots of use and abuse so far but hasn't been tested against small furry things yet.

Jack Pyke large gamebag has enough storage for plenty of pigeon plus some shell decoys. Its what I use, is well made and easy to carry. I even have enough space to stuff my hide cloth there as well and ended up using an old gunslip to carry the poles
