Things come in threes

Earlier on today my wife came in to tell me she'd got the van stuck in a ditch. She'd moved over to let someone past and the more she wheelspan to get out of the mud, the more she slid in. By the time we went back to the van it was almost completely in this muddy ditch. I managed to tow her out and it was all home for tea.

Next thing I heard was her screaming as she'd set the chip pan alight and flames were licking at the ceiling.

As everything comes in threes, I'm just waiting to see what tomorrow throws our way.

Bad luck or clumsy cow?

Today,

Whilst queuing in two lanes of traffic a motorcyclist filtering through traffic was knocked off his bike by a car driver changing lanes and he took a tumble right in front of my lorry.

Later, whilst waiting at traffic lights near Crystal Palace, a pigeon flew in through my drivers door window hitting me square in the face, knocking my glasses off before going mental flapping about the cab.

Further on the journey home, several police cars chasing about, blocked the junction we were at, one copper jumps out and throws a 'stinger' across the left slip road, (I thought this is gonna be exciting) all of a sudden it goes all 'Police Interceptors' around me, there's a Big Bang and car in the right turn filter lane on my offside is shunted fwd and a little Suzuki Ignis/daihatsu charade type car bursts through the junction with loads of wheel spinning and screaming engine, glances off the front of one of the BMW X5s and takes off up the A12 the wrong way.

You couldn't make it up lol.
