fenboy
I recently brought my Lab one , I did not feel he needed it against the cold but it does help dry him off quicker as well as blend him in a little better.
E.w.
I've never used one on my dogs but must say they look a dam useful item were dogs are spending prolonged period out wildfowling, could only be a plus I would have thought. Farma Geddon
I recently brought my Lab one , I did not feel he needed it against the cold but it does help dry him off quicker as well as blend him in a little better.Where did you bring yours from Ade?I used to buy them from the Shark company. I have not had one for years , but I rate them for dogs that do a lot of water work . They don't keep them warm in the water , but once out the warm up quickly and dry off fast. Very good also after a cold wet day for spaniels , put one on before they get in the motor for the journey home and they will be steaming quickly and dry fast. kent
Used one on my gwp never on the lab he doesn't need it but some lack the good double waterproof coat. If mine lacked that or I saw him shivering then it would be an easy choice to make Got to watch them for getting too hot early season or at times times of high activitie Still have a big neoprene one I think but it's seriously big
bigbird
Omg she would be MORTIFIED in a dog jacket misser... Unless it was a designer very expensive one then I reckon she might quite fancy herself in it lol...,

Mine came from waterfowl Ireland mate , trouble is its a job to get one to fit perfect if buying over the net , Milo needed a xxxl ! I agree they do make good handwarmers Edited December 10, 2015 by fenboy
Tony G
I got mine from waterfowl Ireland aswell, the Avery one My boy did have a jackpyke one but it was a bit small and where the edges are turned over and stitched it rubbed his armpits raw He now has bald armpits ! The neoprene on the Avery one is a lot more supple
FatFreddysCat
Got one from Jack Pyke. The jacket is well made but the floatation inserts are rubbish. Threw them away and stuffed the floatation pockets with bubble wrap.
cocker boy
Every dog I have ever owned came with it's own jacket.

landy george
I've got a Jack Pyke one, cut the arm pits a bit bigger as others have said. I only use it when it gets cold & when we get out on the marsh. Take it off when we're heading back & put on a fleece type when his in the car just for the trip home. He's 8 now so trying to look after the old boy, come to think of it I must get a fleece for me as well. Bloody cold in an old defender

I retired him from beating all day last season but still take him out on the marsh & the odd rough shoot.
