Struggled :-(

It has been one of those days! When I just could not get it right :unhappy:

I missed four pheasants today! Downed a hen and lost it :unhappy: , no gun dog with me :unhappy: , legs are in shreds looking for it in the brambles and they are burning as I write!

The one pheasant I did get fell in a stream and guess who had to retrieve it? Me, but first I had to negotiate a thick black thorn hedge!

Ok apart from the bad back I do need the exercise so.......

One pigeon, missed one pigeon

One of those days.

At least it was a nice day and I was not at work :yahoo:

Oh and the other day at work during a conversation about 12g shotguns I said 12bore :crazy:

U.

That's what getting out is all about sounds like a perfect day. It's good character building am out in morning for a walk round my little farm I shoot on in hope of a rabbit or two. Will be wet but at least am out no pigeons about at moment but might manage a shot at a magpie or jay if lucky.

Take a camera, hope to be out myself again too.

What you done to your hand matey?

Smashed up my right hand at work... Little finger needed three screws to sort it out..... I'm gutted as I've been lucky enough to be invited to a shoot but I don't know if I'll be able to shoot by then.... Right hand as well so to say it's carp is an understatement....

Well done UD , now you know what your days are like from the dogs point of view. At least you were able to get out and enjoy the countryside with a moderate result despite the losses. It sounds like Tedly47 is having a rough time but hopefully all will be good in the end.

Cheers PC, I am going to have to grow a thick coat and a bigger nose!

Lol, it would be funny watching you two with muzzleloaders, it would look like a fiddlers convention! Lol

Sorry to hear your tail of woe bud...and also your ongoing bore vs gauge issues

Have you considered anger management therapy? I can point you in the right direction

The phycosis is much better ta, its just gauging things and if I get bored it starts going pear shaped :-(

Beddy on a whippet cross. Jess is her name. My wife says she is a rat on stilts!

She is sooo nice. Ours was put down at 16 years old, around 2 years ago now.

Determined to have another at some point. Great characters and temperament.
