Royboy
I have had almost every decent ratchet under the sun. Facom are the best. Snap On wouldn't make my top ten. PS - I still have a fine tooth 3/8" flexi Snap On ratchet - one of their better ones. I'd have to agree with you about the ratchets to be fair, I've been through so many teeth on snap on ratchets ! Maybe I'll try a Facom one

ditchman
There are 2 types of pigeon meisters......to draw a parallell....................PC is based on the "terminus" Liverpool street of pigeons...and Motty must be at Paddington....the rest of us are down the bottom of some hardly used and unheard of branch line called Nobirdville..... shoot and be safe
But Motty has yet to shoot a pigeon in 2016. At least I have shot two, albeit on a game shootojw.fletcher@gmail.com. And one of them was an "illegal" wood pigeon shot before the first attempt at a game bird Just saying Edited January 11, 2016 by shoot and be safe
JDog
And one of them was illegal Just saying Just to clarify, it was not an illegal species like a Stock dove or racing pigeon. Perish the thought had I shot one of those with the PW tell tales watching.

Perish the thought had I shot one of those with the PW tell tales watching. Indeed not a illegal species. It was a wood pigeon taken from a good hight before the first game bird was shot at. It was a great shot and I'm honoured to have witnessed it

I would not put myself forward in the same league as the others mentioned but thanks for the mention all the same. My weekly reports tend to very repetitive but I hope they do impart some insite into the methods employed to shoot pigeons.
Dunkield
I think there should a collective well done and thank you to all who take the time and effort to do write-ups I've done a couple of short trip reviews with pictures so I know how long it can take. To all who contribute, please continue to do as they are a integral part of what makes PW the place it is

I don't reply to your posts, largely as I have nothing constructive to add, but they are very, very useful and I think many on here appreciate the time you take to pass on your considerable knowledge. If I had a hat, I'd take it off you you!

Dunkield
Non of the re-stocking threads have had a mention, they too deserve some credit for the skills involved and also the patience to post the step by step pictures and running commentary.
